(Disclaimer: All medications are based on our formulary of the most commonly prescribed generic medications in our office, all other medications will be sent to the pharmacy) Priority Scheduling Your employees deserve timely care!   • How Does the Membership Model Work?
    Our membership model is designed to simplify healthcare! For a monthly fee, your employees gain access to a wide range of primary care services, including clinical visits, laboratory tests, 24-7 telehealth, preventative health, care coordination, and routine care management. It’s all about providing seamless, high-quality care without the hassle!
  • Are there any Hidden Fees?
    Absolutely not! At WorkMed+, we pride ourselves on transparency. There are no hidden fees—our pricing is straightforward and clear. The monthly membership fee covers all the services outlined in our membership agreement. If there are any additional costs for discounted medications or labs that fall outside the membership, we’ll communicate those clearly. Your employees can trust that they’re getting great value without any surprises!
  • Is there an Enrollment Fee?
    Yes, we charge a $50 one- time per employee enrollment fee in order to set up patient accounts and coordinating with our office.
  • What Happens If An Employee Needs To See a Specialist?
    At WorkMed, we offer comprehensive primary care, but if your employee needs to see a specialist, we've got you covered! We will coordinate their care and refer them to trusted specialists who will align with your employees’ needs. Plus, we’ll collaborate with the specialist to ensure they receive seamless, integrated care every step of the way. Your employees’ health is our top priority! Important Pricing Information It's essential to note that while WorkMed coordinates care with specialists, each specialist will have their own set pricing that is outside of the WorkMed Plus Membership. However, we are committed to working closely with specialists to help employees receive the best pricing for their treatments. This ensures that your employees can access necessary care without unexpected financial burdens. We strive to make the referral process as smooth as possible so that your employees can focus on their health and well-being.
  • Can I Get Same-Day or Next-Day Appointments?
    Absolutely! One of the fantastic advantages of WorkMed Plus is that we offer same-day or next-day appointments for our members. This ensures that your employees have timely access to the care they need without long waiting times! We also offer 24-7 Tele-Health, so you don’t have to worry about coming into the office.
  • What Types of Health Issues Can You Manage?
    At Work Med, we’re equipped to handle a wide array of health issues! From acute illnesses, women’s health, routine care, chronic injuries, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, nutrition, sports medicine, preventive care, work injuries and wellness services.
  • How Does Billing Work for Lab Tests?
    Billing at Work Med is straightforward! Many in-house lab tests are included in your membership, but some external lab tests may have additional costs. The great news is that we negotiate discounted rates for our members and pass those savings directly to your employee, making healthcare more affordable!
  • Is Telehealth Available?
    Absolutely! We offer telehealth follow-up services as part of our commitment to making healthcare accessible for everyone. This means your employees can consult with our healthcare provider from the comfort of their home—no need to travel! Check out our Employee Plus plan to activate this benefit.
  • Can I Cancel an Employee Membership?
    Absolutely! At WorkMed+, we understand that employee rosters can change as team members leave or new hires join. That’s why we make it easy to cancel or adjust memberships at any time. Important Billing Information All enrollment cycles are billed in advance on the 1st of each month. If an employer decides to cancel an employee's enrollment on the 2nd or any other day of the month, the former employee will still have coverage until the end of that month. Cancellation Process To initiate a cancellation, simply send us a quick email notice at least 30 days in advance, as outlined in our membership agreement. Our team works closely with your office to ensure a seamless onboarding and offboarding process for your employees. We’re here to make things flexible and hassle-free for you!
